What would make you buy a Tesla?

Tesla cars receive a lot of media buzz, but it seems the average American still does not consider the car to be a viable option.

In our recent series, we looked at some of Tesla's earliest adopters and their motivations for purchasing the car — from its luxury status to its fuel efficiency to its speed.

So while it's clear Silicon Valley-based techies aren't the only people purchasing Teslas, we're still curious what it would take for the average person to consider switching to a Tesla.
