The next version of iOS may borrow a popular feature from Apple's new line of Macbooks: Force Touch.
The upcoming iPhone's display will be pressure sensitive to accommodate Apple's pressure-sensitive feature, according to a 9to5Mac report by the ever-reliable Mark Gurman
The feature is said to debut on the next iPhone, likely called the iPhone 6S, along with iOS 9. This would be in line with earlier reports that suggest Apple plans to add the feature to its next iPhone.
First introduced with the new Macbook, Force Touch lets the laptop's trackpad detect subtle differences in how much pressure is applied by the finger — so a hard press and a light press will trigger different actions. Read more...
